Adventureland Curriculum for February

Grade School Curriculum

During this series, our grade school students will be transported to medieval times as they learn about how to develop noble character! Look below to see what ”God’s knights in training” will be learning.

 

 

“Go for the Gold” Mini Olympics at Fuel Up!

Adventureland’s “Go for the Gold” on Wednesday nights has begun! We are celebrating this once-in-a-lifetime event with Olympic winter games, Wii Sport and much more. It is never too late to join our Olympic moments; we meet in the Conference Room from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.  Come in your favourite jersey or a paint the town red shirt.  We may end up outside one week, so make sure you dress for the weather.  Mini-Olympics mini-version for preschoolers and Nursery provided.  Come out and “Go for the Gold” with Adventureland.  Let the games begin!

Adventureland Missions Projects Giving

We have been raising money for the family room at the Alexandra Gardner house since September and our Adventureland kids have done an amazing job.  Our goal was to reach $1,000.  With the help from some individuals in the Trinity family, we raised over $1,400.00 in cash and over $80 in Canadian Tire Money.  Way to go kids for “loving others” in our community!

In the wake of the disaster in Haiti, we have decided to switch gears in February and have the Adventureland offerings go to help those affected by the earthquake.  We also decided to allow your kids to “Have a Heart for Haiti”.  Starting the weekend of Feb 6/7, for every $1 kids donate, they can write thier names on paper hearts – here’s the plan! Our goal is to cover a map of Haiti in our Adventureland hallway with paper hearts until the map is overflowing with love from the kids of Trinity!

Bring Your Parent to Adventureland Day – February 20/21 – Age 4 Parents

Age 4 parents are asked to join their preschoolers as we whirl ‘n’ worship and hear from God’s Word.  Let’s work together to draw your preschooler closer to God.

Valentine’s Day in Adventureland

Kids won’t want to miss Adventureland on February 13/14 – we want to love on them with a special treat!

Parents and Tots Group

Our Wednesday morning play time is a great time to connect with other parents and tots !  We meet on Wednesdays at 9:00 am in the Nursery until you or your little ones want to go home!  See you then!

Adventure Zone Day Camps – Camp E.D.G.E.

The 2010 Adventure Zone Day Camps are right around the corner!  We are starting to look for leaders who have a passion for God’s word and being with kids.  The dates for the camps are:

July 5 – 9:     Preschool Camp

July 5 – 9:      Grades 1 – 6 Camp

July 19 – 23:  Sports Zone

Watch for more information and registrations details because your kids won’t want miss going to the E.D.G.E. with God!
